His screenplays have been featured on The Blood List, The Red List (top 1%), scored high on Blcklst & have placed in the PAGE Awards (Finalist).
He spent his childhood in a roving religious cult &, as a result, is a dual citizen (Canada/USA) with the privilege of having lived in eight states & two provinces.
Josh’s BFA & MFA are from the Savannah College of Art & Design, he majored in VFX with a minor in Creative Writing.
Josh writes horror that lilts between childlike wonder & gut-wrenching terror; his style is relentless, lyrical, & tongue-in-cheek while maintaining a barbed heart of pure sincerity. Inspired by the horror of real-world social issues, Josh's stories are an act of joyful anarchic catharsis.
