Josh Evans entered this world in much the same way he will depart, screaming & trapped in a sac(k).
His screenplays have been featured on The Blood List, The Red List (top 1%), scored high on Blcklst (7 is his lowest score ever) & have placed in the PAGE Awards (Finalist). He spent his childhood in a roving religious cult &, as a result, is a dual citizen (Canada/USA) with the privilege(?) of having lived in eight states & two provinces.
Josh’s BFA & MFA are from the Savannah College of Art & Design, he majored in VFX with a minor in Creative Writing.
Josh writes feature horror that lilt between childlike wonder & gut-wrenching terror; his writing style is relentless, lyrical, & tongue-in-cheek while maintaining a barbed spine of pure sincerity. Inspired by the horror of real-world social issues, Josh's stories seek to provide anarchic catharsis to his fellow humanitarian horror fiends.
